Youth

Youth is a bliss
Which old men miss.
Youth is when a person is
At the peak of powers
Impulsive on instincts
With yet-to-mature minds
And new burning desires.
The range in this age
Is from acts of rage
To acts of a sage.
He plays the present
And forgoes the future.
When youth is past
Life's a new cast,
Either life is set
Or there's much to regret.
Youth can do bad
Which is sad.
Youth can do good
Which they should.
There must be a guide who's right,
So that their future is bright!
