1)     Gandhi thought differently and so his picture was used as an illustration for Apple company's slogan for its product. Though their thoughts were different, the concept of thinking different was the same.
2)     Gandhi's idea of non-violence was that to be more moral than the opponent will force their moral conscience to surrender. This was featured in a film and was famous and adopted by the freedom fighters of other countries also.
3)     Gandhi was not afraid of the British but was afraid of the dark.
4)     Gandhi wanted to unify all people but failed in stopping the India-Pakistan partition.
5)     Gandhi was modest but did not stop his followers who waged against Nehru for calling Gandhi as Mr. Gandhi instead of 'Mahatma.'
6)     Gandhi lived a poor life but was dependent on industrial billionaires like Birla.
7)     Gandhi tried to help the untouchables but their leader Ambedkar was his rival.
8)     Gandhi formulated many political philosophies and was away from the political arena.
9)     Gandhi practised "Brahmacharya Experiments."
10) Gandhi was against modernisation and Nehru was for it and it was the latter's vision that was preferred.
11) Gandhi revised his opinion that non-violence can work out against any kind of government when he witnessed Nazi Germany.
12) Gandhian way is widely believed to have gained independence for India but it was the historical forces such as the ruined economic condition of the British after World War II that they withdrew.
13) India came out to be a secularised state while Gandhi's view was to make it a religious one.
14) Hindu nationalism is evident in BJP but Gandhi's name is not mentioned.
15) C. Rajagopalachari, a government general of independent India said that Gandhians who defy the glamour of modern technology are mostly cranks.
16) Gandhi has become irrelevant in India of which he is called "The Father Of The Nation" but is more talked about outside India.

A small correction,nehru wasn't attacked but it is Mohammed Ali Jinnah who was attacked for called him as 'mr Gandhi'
